EXPEDITION SUMMARY
SEA2PLATE is a week-long spearfishing and ocean-to-table expedition in the remote Solomon Islands. Learn to hunt ethically, handle fish properly, and cook what you catch with experienced hosts who love teaching this stuff.
Set in pristine lagoons, you'll spend your days freediving clear waters, learning selective hunting and reef reading, then cooking your catch together each evening. With a 3:1 host-to-guest ratio, you'll get real attention and build skills that stick.
The vibe is calm, intentional, and supportive. The food is unreal. The skills are yours to keep.
If you've ever wanted to feed yourself from the ocean and do it right—this is your trip.

The Fun Stuff
Why Adventure with Us?
Ocean Glide designs expeditions around one simple principle: help people build real relationships with the ocean through skill, respect, and genuine experience.
We don't do surface-level tourism or ego-driven adventures. Every trip is built with intention—small groups, experienced hosts, ethical practices, and space to actually learn. Safety isn't negotiable. Conservation is built in. The focus stays on you, not our content.
SEA2PLATE reflects this: 3:1 ratio, hands-on teaching, sustainable hunting, and meals that matter. You leave with skills, not just stories.
This is how we do ocean expeditions—thoughtfully, safely, and with lasting impact.
Our Perfect Guest
You're genuinely curious about sustainable hunting and want to learn the right way to source and cook seafood. You're comfortable in the ocean (not necessarily an expert), you value ethics over ego, and you're cool with small groups and rustic island living.
You don't need spearfishing credentials or chef skills—just genuine interest, respect for the ocean, and willingness to learn, contribute, and be present.
If that's you, you'll fit right in.

You won't just watch—you'll be right there learning how to fillet, prep, and cook fish properly. Harry's style is approachable and clear, focused on skills you can take home and use forever.
Good food prepared well. That's the standard.
Herbert Fiedler
Spear Guide
Originally from Peru, Herbert brings a quiet, deliberate approach to spearfishing instruction.
His teaching focuses on good judgment, clean shots, and selective hunting—taking only what's needed and doing it right. Herbert's style is calm and observational, helping you read fish behavior, understand reef dynamics, and improve your technique without force or rush.
In the water, he prioritizes patience, positioning, and respect for the environment. You'll learn how to hunt ethically and efficiently, building skills that reflect both capability and restraint.
Herbert's here to guide you toward becoming the kind of spearfisher the ocean—and the reefs—can handle having around.
