From our Gold Coast base, we also offer freediving courses, spearfishing workshops, and curate expeditions to incredible locations worldwide, helping people build confidence to access the ocean's wonders responsibly.
From the Founder
I was born into a concrete jungle to parents who preferred the indoors. It wasn't until college that I discovered the awe of the sea. Since that discovery, the ocean has become the centre of my world — and rest assured, I have been making up for lost time.
My approach to the water is anchored by my years as a firefighter-paramedic in a busy city off the coast of California. That life taught me how to remain calm, assess a situation, and provide dynamic alternatives to help people when conditions shift. It also shaped my understanding of the layered connections between people, nature, and our mental and physical health.
As a lifelong social and environmental activist, I believe in practical, non-toxic solutions for how we live. This inspired me to create Ocean Glide after becoming frustrated with products that were either rough on my skin or harsh on the reef. My mission is to create a pathway to a fuller life and a healthier planet, using the ocean as a roadmap for self-growth.
These days, I find joy in sharing what I have learnt along the way. My goal is to help others move through the water with the same intention and care that the ocean deserves.
